Modern communication media enable efficient collaboration from anywhere in the world. And still it is an advantage that our office is located in Nuremberg– the city with the ancient castle, because there we operate from a central location in Germany.
Today we are firmly rooted in consulting
Our history starts in the mid-1940s when the engineer Hubert Neureiter settled down in Nuremberg as a patent attorney. In 1959, the chemist Dr. Dieter Louis further expands the firm. In 1971, the physicist Claus Pöhlau and the engineer Franz Lohrentz join the partnership: Louis · Pöhlau · Lohrentz is born.
Today, our office counts more than 50 employees. And even though it was quite unusual during the 1940s and 1950s, Louis · Pöhlau · Lohrentz has operated on an international scale from the beginning - a tradition from which we benefit today more than ever , as the large and medium-sized enterprises we represent now cover any region in the world. The patent attorneys and lawyers we cooperate with on a continuous basis are located on all continents. And the majority of the cases we represent are of an international character.
Not only do our clients live in most different countries, they are also based in various fields of technology. Our services therefore not only cover all questions of the protection of industrial property, but they also include all of these topics and technologies. Louis · Pöhlau · Lohrentz is firmly rooted in strategic consulting and efficient, comprehensive service. It is this experience that the majority of our clients have trusted for decades.
