Professional regulations (§ 43a Abs. 4 BRAO) prohibit attorneys from exercising conflicting interests. Therefore, prior to accepting a mandate, a conflict of interests will have to be excluded.

In the event of disputes between attorneys and their clients extrajudicial mediation may be sought upon application at the regional Nuremberg bar association (in accordance with § 73 para 2 no. 3 in connection with § 73 para 5 BRAO) or at the conciliation board of the Federal Chamber of Lawyers (§ 191 f.
